Welcome to Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Indiana Chapter One
Scholarship Program

Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Indiana Chapter 1 scholarship program is intended to help students pursuing a professional degree to cover the costs of qualified expenses, including graduate and undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board for the given year. It is meant to enable them more time to study, rather than work, so that they can achieve their degree in a timelier manner.

Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Indiana Chapter 1 scholarship program is only available to family members of Indiana Service Member listed as a Prisoner of War (POW), Former Prisoner of War, or Missing in Action (MIA). The scholarship program is one way the Chapter can give back to the family members that have endured the sacrifice of losing a love one in the defense of our freedom. We must never forget that freedom isn’t free.

Scholarship Award Given

The scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.00 and awarded to an individual that is either enrolled for the spring semester or registered for the fall semester. Being enrolled in summer classes does not make you eligible to enter.

The scholarship will be awarded during the July Chapter meeting. Application deadline is April 30th and the Evaluation committee decision made by June 30th.

This scholarship is awarded based upon the decision of the Board of Directors and scholarship dollar amounts may vary from year to year by the decisions of the Board of Directors.
